The winners of the 2019 OCKHAM NEW ZEALAND BOOK AWARDS will be announced on Tuesday 14 May. In the lead-up, you have been able to indicate your preferred (or most likely) category winners using the VOLUME OCKHAMETER (and Acornometer).
The books chosen by you as the winners are: The Acorn Foundation Fiction Prize: The Cage by Lloyd Jones (Penguin Books). The Peter and Mary Biggs Award for Poetry: Poūkahangatus by Tayi Tibble (Victoria University Press). The Illustrated Non-Fiction Award: Birdstories by Geoff Norman (Potton & Burton).
